Léon is a region of northwest Spain that contains the wine growing appellation of Bierzo established as a D.O. in 1989. Bierzo has a special macroclimate that is beneficial to viticulture due to its experiencing both humidity and rainfall combined with heat. Indigenous grapes flourish that include Godello and Mencia. Cynthia Hurley Wines focuses on bringing the highest quality wines from each region. As a wine importer of Spanish wines we continue to search for only the best the Spain has to offer.
