Tasting Notes: "Outstanding Top Value"- Burghound "(from vineyards in Santenay, Marsannay and the lower portions of Volnay). A fresh, ripe and relatively elegant nose consists of various red berry aromas cut with hints of plum and earth. There is both good volume and energy to the caressing and utterly delicious middle weight flavors that display an interesting contrast as the finish has a bittersweet character.
