2016 Domaine de Pignan, CNdP, Coralie et Floriane 91-93 pts – Jeb Dunnuck

“Easily my favorite in the lineup, the 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Coralie Et Floriane gives up terrific notes of ripe blackberries, black cherries, licorice and spring flowers. It’s rich, concentrated and medium to full-bodied, yet is impeccably balanced and silky on the palate, with fine, fine tannin. Give this pretty, complex, and perfumed 2016 2-3 years of bottle age and drink over the following decade. This cuvée is made from equal parts Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, from the Bigote, Bosquets and Pignan lieu-dits, that was destemmed and brought up in 20% new barrels.”- Jeb Dunnuck, 10/19/2017
