The Galicia wine growing region of Spain is located in the northwest corner of Spain. It is situated on the Atlantic coast and offers rugged cliffs and is very verdant due to the high rainfall. Rias Baixas and Ribeira Sacra are two of the best-known appellations. Rias Baixas is known for producing crisp Albarinos due to the granitic soils. Ribeira Sacra the “Sacred Bank” produces white wines made from Godello and red wines from Mencia, Caino, and Granacha. Cynthia Hurley Wines focuses on bringing the highest quality wines from each region. As a wine importer of Spanish wines we continue to search for only the best the Spain has to offer.
