Château Gaillot Fournier is a small familial property in the town of Tizac de Curton less than 15 km across the Dordogne River from St. Emilion.

Terroir & Vineyard Practices:

The clay and limestone soils make it possible to grow a variety of grapes. They practice reasoned agriculture, whereby they strive to respect the environment with minimal intervention in their growing practices. The vines are 30 years-old

Vinification

It’s 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Malbec. The wine is aged in a combination of stainless steel tanks and wood barrels that coax the best balance of flavors and tannins.
