About The Producer
Château Biston is a Left Bank Bordeaux - home to the famous classified growths of the Medoc. This is the outstanding 2nd Label of Château Biston-Brillette.
Terroir & Vineyard Practices:
The “signature” of the Château's terroir is the even balance between the gravel terroirs and the marl-clay-limestone terroirs surrounding the village of Moulis. The finesse and elegance of wines from gravel soils combines with the strength and color of wines from clay-limestone soils. As the Château's 2nd label this comes from the estate's younger vines on selected parcels.
Tasting Notes
Château Biston is a convivial, everyday Bordeaux with a seductive nose and ripe fruit berry flavors. On the palate, it is supple and round with a balanced finish. This wine is a classy Bordeaux in an elegant and modern style.
Vinification
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This comes from well-integrated wood that does not obscure the delicious red and black, currant fruit.
