Round pebbles in a chalky clay-sand soil (Miocene/Ice-Age origin) over rocky, calcareous ground that holds the day's heat overnight; some vines up to 65 years old.
Traditional Southern Rhône vinification. Destemmed. Fermented in tank.
Ripe red and dark fruit with garrigue herbs and pepper. Medium-bodied with smooth tannins and a generous finish.
