This July in Dijon, the Michelin Guide unveiled its first-ever wine selection, the Michelin Grapes. Of the ninety-four Burgundy estates recognized, only nine received the top distinction, and we’re thrilled to see Olivier Lamy among them.
Three Grapes puts Domaine Hubert Lamy in the company of Romanée-Conti, Leroy, Coche-Dury, and Roumier. Michelin’s citation points out Olivier’s pioneering high-density plantings, up to 30,000 vines per hectare (roughly three times the Burgundy norm), and the Haute Densité cuvées that have become the estate’s signature. Only four of the nine Three-Grape estates are in the Côte de Beaune, and Lamy is the sole representative from Saint-Aubin.
We’ve been proud to import Olivier’s wines for years, and seeing him listed alongside those names is a real pleasure. We wish the estate the utmost congratulations and look forward to his continued success.
