North-facing Chateauneuf-du-Pape slopes with a high proportion of sand and pebbles, whose cooler exposure ripens slowly (harvested ~2 weeks later than most).
100% destemmed. Aged in concrete tanks and very old barrels.
Bright crimson. Ripe strawberries, raspberries, sappy flowers, and garrigue. Light tannins, medium-bodied, Burgundian elegance. Outstanding length.
