Portfolio Expansion: Greece

We are thrilled to highlight the addition of both a new country and a new producer to our portfolio. From Greece, Artisans Vignerons de Naoussa, a collective of growers founded with the purpose of promoting sustainable viticulture.

Everything here begins with Xinomavro, the grape that binds the collective together. Its growers farm it across the hillside vineyards of Naoussa, Macedonia, on certified-organic sites that climb to 400 meters on limestone, granite and schist.

The winemaking is deliberately hands-off, built on native-yeast fermentations and patient aging. From that Xinomavro core, the group has expanded, moving into the wider Macedonia PGI under the Artisans Vignerons du Nord label and broadening the range to indigenous whites, Assyrtiko among them.

Their flagship Naoussa Xinomavro, aged twelve months in seasoned 500-litre oak, and the Skyphos Assyrtiko, a dry white with balanced acidity, are just two of their wines we are excited for you to try.
