Our Wines:

Comenge Ribera del Duero Verdejo Blanco – Verdejo Blanco is an organic wine, made exclusively with Verdejo grapes from vineyards over 80 years old. The grapes undergo cold maceration for 12 hours. After pressing the bunches, the must ferments at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out with wild yeasts, recovering the essence of the earliest wines from this appellation and bringing out the most rugged, austere, and authentic character of the grape. It has rested on its fine lees for three months. Clarified with bentonite and naturally stabilized.

Comenge Ribera del Duero Biberius – It is the youngest wine from Comenge, first produced in 2008. Its name comes in remembrance of Emperor Tiberius, nicknamed “Biberius” by his troops due to his passion for the wines of these lands. Since then, Comenge has used Tempranillo grapes from their vineyards in Los Silos and Carrapiñel every year. Grown according to organic farming principles, they yield grapes of exceptional aromatic intensity each year. With this wine, they aim to showcase the vibrant, fresh, and lively character of the Tempranillo variety.

Comenge Ribera del Duero Familia – This wine pays homage to the great aged wines of Ribera del Duero. If there’s one thing that characterizes the Tempranillo variety from this vineyard, it’s its excellent aging potential. After spending between 24 and 26 months in new and one-year-old barrels, it has grown in intensity, elegance, finesse on the palate, and pleasant persistence.

Comenge Ribera del Duero Don Miguel – This wine is made entirely from grapes grown on the Pago de las Hontanillas estate, a vineyard of just 2.7 hectares planted at an altitude of 900 meters above Pesquera de Duero. The distinctive aromatic character of the grapes from this plot inspires Comenge to create this unique wine. During its long aging process (between 18 and 22 months), only new French oak barrels are used. The wine is characterized by its intense color and powerful aromas, full of fruity, floral, and spicy nuances, along with hints of undergrowth, cocoa, spices, and tobacco. A truly delightful wine.
