Founded in 1989 and located in the heart of Samaniego, Álava, Remírez de Ganuza produces contemporary Rioja wines. The winery owns 80 hectares of vineyards spread across the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria mountains. Their wines are characterized by their complexity, elegance, balance, and aging potential.

Old Viura vines on limestone soils at ~600m in the Sierra Cantabria foothills of Rioja Alavesa.
Hand-harvested in 12kg boxes. Green harvest. Free-run juice. Fermented in new French oak. 8 months on lees in barrel.
Complex white flower, stone fruit, and subtle oak. Rich texture with vibrant acidity and a long, mineral finish.
Vineyards aged 25-40 years in the Sierra Cantabria foothills of Rioja Alavesa.
Hand-harvested in small boxes. Aged in French and American oak.
Expressive dark fruit with spice and cedar. Medium to full-bodied with polished tannins and good structure.

Hand-harvested in 12kg boxes. Innovative selection using only upper portion of each cluster. Extended aging in new French oak.
Intense and concentrated: dark cherry, blackberry, spice, leather, and mineral. Full-bodied with velvety tannins and exceptional length.
